Samvaro

Located in Planteringen in southern Helsingborg, the project centres on social sustainability, with equal consideration for ecological and economic values. The block combines a variety of two- and three-storey terraced houses with a four-storey apartment building, creating a dynamic composition at a human scale.

At its heart lies a shared outdoor space — a lively meeting place for informal interaction, play and community life. A communal building housing a workshop, kitchen and greenhouse links the terraces to the apartment building. Along the southern edge, a disused railway line has grown into a green embankment: an informal landscape for children to explore that also receives the courtyard's collected rainwater and channels it towards the sea.
